Tacheles 2025
A different kind of conference on autonomous and connected driving
Openness or competitive advantage? The TACHELES conference will explore whether open source and open data are really helping to advance autonomous driving.
TACHELES – a different kind of conference on autonomous and connected driving – is entering its third round! We will discuss one of the key questions in the development of autonomous driving: Should components, tools and data be openly accessible to everyone? Can transparency and cooperation increase the speed of innovation – or does it create new dependencies?
What does an open source and open data approach mean for the competitive automotive industry? What differentiating factors remain when everyone is working with the same resources? What opportunities and challenges arise for AI development, new business models and legal frameworks?
Under the patronage of the Ministry of Transport Baden-Württemberg, we will critically and controversially examine these questions with leading minds from industry and science. In interactive panels and discussions, conflicting interests will be confronted – yet it is precisely here that new perspectives and ideas emerge.
Meet, discuss, network – this time spread over two half-days with an evening event for more in-depth talks.
