From beauty filters to deepfakes – explore the world of Artificial Intelligence!
Are you curious about the fascinating world of Artificial Intelligence (AI)? Would you like to discover what AI is, where you have already encountered it, and how it shapes our future? Then, we warmly invite you to spend the Girls’ Day at TRIANGEL and with the FZI Research Center for Information Technology!
On April 3, 2025, TRIANGEL will open its doors at Kronenplatz in Karlsruhe to give you and your female classmates aged 13 and up an exciting insight into our research and the world of AI. How does AI manage to “create” texts and images? What are the potentials and risks? Through interactive quiz rounds and experiments, we want to get to the bottom of these and other questions together.
What can you expect on our Girls’ Day?
Exciting discussions: What did the AI chatbot just say? Immerse yourself in conversations about the benefits and dangers of AI. Together, we will explore and critically question the diverse AI application areas.
Practical experiments: Training cars with deepfakes? Experience AI up close through practical experiments with various AI services. Learn how algorithms work and how they affect our daily lives.
Group work: AI distorting the news? Work in teams with other girls to explore aspects such as AI-generated fake news and manipulation. Discover the importance of being attentive and critical and of checking sources.

This Girls’ Day AI workshop is part of the competence cluster Anonymization for Networked Mobility Systems (ANYMOS), which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and NextGenerationEU.
