From the lab to the road: We are exploring the technologies of tomorrow
In the City of Science, you can experience how we at the FZI bring our research for future mobility from the lab to the road. Discover CoCar NextGen with our FZI researchers: the vehicle, equipped with various high-end sensors, high-performance hardware, and modern networking components, is an FZI in-house development. The innovative research platform for automated driving grants insight into sensor technology and shows what intelligent data collection for automated driving can look like as part of future mobility.
In the second project in the “City of Science,” the data, “the gold of the 21st century”, plays an invaluable role. Use cases demonstrate anonymization techniques that optimize both data protection and data value.
Five ways to ruin your AI project: In this “Wissensdurst” lecture with Alexander Dregger, learn from seven years of implementing AI solutions – from dishwasher AI to prison AI – and how to avoid failure.
Also present is FZI scientist Federico Peccia with the lecture “Unsichtbar dank KI” (“Invisible thanks to AI”). In a live demo, he shows how generative AI can anonymize images and videos to protect users’ identities.
The FZI is also presenting itself on stage: from human-like chatbots to service and assistance robots – there is much to discover.
