14. AXEL Startup Demo Day
AXEL startups present their innovations for the energy transition
On April 8, startups from the 14th team training program of AXEL – The Energy Accelerator will present their business ideas at our FZI House of Living Labs.
They have been working on their value propositions and business models as well as their pitch decks for six weeks – and will now present them in a pitch to investors, partners, and interested parties.
The course of the Demo Day resembles a sports tournament and is meant to playfully attract great attention to innovative energy technologies. The best energy start-ups from this batch will be sought in preliminary rounds, semi-finals, and a final. All participants are invited to vote for their favorites in each round – and thus (in combination with a jury) help decide who will move on to the next round or receive the trophy.
Our FZI Department Manager, Fabian Kern, is a jury member and startup mentor at this exciting event for startups.

- 4:35 p.m.: 1st public voting
- 4:45 p.m.: Networking break
- 5:00 p.m.: Semi-final (including second public voting)
- 5:15 p.m.: Final (including third public voting)
- 17:30: Networking with snacks
- 19:00: End of the event
