Maximilian Staab studied at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), majoring in "Telematics" and "Anthropomatics and Cognitive Systems" in his Bachelor's and Master's degree in computer science. His minor subject was "Electrical Engineering and Information Technology".

Since January 2024, he has been working as a research assistant in the Cybersecurity and Law department. His focus is on IT security, IoT security, hardware investigations, and fault injections.
