Since 2016, Katja Alexandrakis has been working as a research assistant at the FZI Research Centre for Information Technology in the field of innovation, strategy and transfer at the Berlin branch and is the vice department manager of the Spin-offs, Ecosystems & Transfer department since November 2024. She is particularly enthusiastic about co-creative innovation processes and transfer management, for example in the context of interactive events. Supporting the strategic development of the FZI House of Living Labs, an application-orientated research landscape, she also professionalizes the FZI-wide Knowledge and Technology Transfer by shaping the young Spin-off, Ecosystems and Transfer department.
Katja Alexandrakis studied Archaeology and Cultural History in Berlin (Humboldt University) and Bologna (Università di Bologna). Her work subsequently focussed on product management, cultural education and science communication.
