Julian Truetsch studied mechanical engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2020. During his time as a student, he volunteered with the student group KITcar e.V.

Since June 2022, Julian Truetsch has been working as a research assistant at the FZI Research Center for Information Technology in the Mobile Perception Systems (MPS) department. In his doctoral research, he specializes in approaches to analyze the coverage of autonomous driving deep learning datasets.
