Jonas Saupe studied Industrial Engineering and Management at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology with a focus on operations research and logistics. He wrote his master's thesis on a solution method for an optimization problem from project scheduling.

In June 2023, he joined the Information Process Engineering (IPE) division at FZI as a research assistant. He works on applications of mathematical programming in logistics and production.
