Bálint Máté completed his degree in Mechantronics and Information Technology at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) with a specialization in robotics. He wrote his master's thesis "Human-aware Whole-body Control for Handover Tasks" at the High-Performance Humanoid Technologies (H2T) research group.

Since April 2023, Bálint Máté has been working as a research associate in the Software Engineering (SE) research department at the FZI.
