Tech for Democracy
German-Israeli Research Initiative on Digital Democracy
ICT drives digitization and digitality in business and society. In the field of financial services, for example, the FZI is contributing to the development
of cross-platform concepts with consistent flow logics for self-service machines that are changing the provision of financial services in a visionary and cost-oriented way.
The FZI is also developing concepts for large financial service providers in the area of security technology.
ICT also promotes business software innovations, which maps the management of business processes within and between companies – another of the FZI’s fields of work.
The FZI cooperates closely with public and private partners from science and economy in the Software Cluster in southwest Germany – a kind of Silicon Valley in Europe.
This creates a multi- and interdisciplinary, consistently transfer-oriented basis for important contributions to both the further development and use of ICT.
This also includes the environmentally and resource-friendly use of ICT over the entire life cycle of IT solutions in private and public organizations in the provision of innovatively integrated goods and services.
