Insights into current research at the FZI
Coffee Call #
With our Coffee Call event format, we respond to requests for exciting insights into our current research and address topics that are in high demand.
On the first Tuesday of every month, from 9 to 10 a.m., FZI staff and researchers present the latest findings from their work in short and concise keynote speeches and encourage participants to discuss the content in the subsequent Q&A.
Each event has a different thematic focus, reflecting the interests of the members of the FZI Friends’ Association. The range of topics covered in previous events has included quantum computing, applied AI, the future of autonomous vehicles, the “new normal” in pandemic times, and the early diagnosis of skin cancer using image recognition and self-learning algorithms.
The individual Coffee Calls via the conference software Big Blue Button are not only open to members of the FZI Friends’ Association, but can be attended by all people who are interested in the work of the FZI. For this purpose, it is only necessary to register up to 24 hours before the event start to receive the respective access link in time.
Details on the individual Coffee Calls and the speakers can be found on the respective subpage for each date. Dorothee Mathes, who organizes and moderates the individual events, will be happy to answer any questions about the series of events.
