In 2012, the FZI House of Living Labs was opened as an innovative research environment with over 2,000 square metres to develop and test new IT applications together with partners from business, science and society and bring them to market readiness.
Experience our various subject areas and exciting research projects first-hand during our guided tours on June 7, 2024 as part of Bunte Nacht der Digitalisierung 2024, the colourful night of digitalization: these always start on the hour at 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, and 18:00 – without pre-registration, directly after registration on-site.
In its seven real laboratories, participants can research and develop experimental technologies in real-life scenarios – hands-on research to experience:
