Jan Novacek studied Computer Science at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). His major subjects were Software Engineering and Anthropomatics.
Starting as a research assistant at FZI Research Center for Information Technology in 2009, he has been a guest scientist since 2015 and a research associate at the FZI in the Department of Microelectronic System Design (SiM) since 2016.
In 2023, he received his doctorate from the University of Tübingen about ontology-based optimization of the design of automotive electronic systems under Prof. Dr. Oliver Bringmann.
