Elias Hofele studied computer science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2016 to 2024, focusing on cognitive systems, natural language processing and human-robot cooperation.

His bachelor's thesis "Deep Learning for Laser Cutters" was created in a collaboration with TRUMPF. Neural networks were used to automate the removal of the cut components. For his master's thesis "Classifying Security Requirements in Natural Language Documents using Large Language Models" he focused on the automatic identification and classification of requirements according to their security relevance.

Since February 2024 he is a research assistant in the Interactive Diagnostics and Service Systems (IDS) group at the FZI.
