Philip Schörner studied mechanical engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) until 2016. During his master's degree, he focussed on product development, control theory and cognitive systems. He completed his master's thesis on "Metrics for influencing road users in autonomous driving" in the Technical Cognitive Systems (TKS) department.

Philip Schörner is head of the department Technical Cognitive Systems. He also works as a researcher with a focus on behavior and motion planning under consideration of uncertainties.
