Alexander Dregger studied Psychology at the University of Luxembourg (B.Sc.), Business Psychology at the Universities of Bremen and Vienna (M.Sc.) and English and History (B.A.) at the University of Trier. After working in the field of digital change and transformation at IBM in Hamburg, he has been a research associate at the Research Centre for Information Technology in Karlsruhe since 2020.
He is currently in charge of the Digital Hub Applied AI (https://digitalhub-ai.de/) and KI@JVA projects.
Alexander Dregger is also doing his doctorate in the field of psychology and artificial intelligence, investigating how psychological mechanisms can improve the user experience of AI. In particular, the focus here is on the topic of conversational agents and artificial personality. He also researches the topics of change management in AI, inter-organisational cooperation, entrepreneurship and prospective psychology and is a regular speaker at conferences and meetings.
