Julia Hofmann studied Geodesy and Geoinformatics at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) with a focus on "Geoinformatics" and "Computer Vision". Since May 2023, she is working as a research associate in the Department of Medical Information Technology (MIT) in the Embedded Systems and Sensors Engineering (ESS) research area. Her research interests are artificial intelligence, image processing and computer vision.

Julia Hofmann is currently working on the HybridVITA, Kimono and PulsCam projects at the FZI.
