Alexander Grote studied Industrial Engineering and Management at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). During his studies, he not only acquired theoretical knowledge about data science, but also gained his first practical experience in this field as an assistant researcher at the FZI.

Since October 2020, he has been working at the Institute for Information Systems and Marketing (IISM) at KIT and since November 2020 also at the FZI as a research assistant. He works on machine learning and data science. The main focus of his work at the FZI is the project-related cooperation with a large German telecommunications provider. As part of this cooperation, he transfers the latest research results from machine learning into practice.
