Matthias Börsig completed his bachelor's degree in computer science, specialising in IT security, at Aalen University of Applied Sciences (HTW Aalen). He then completed his Master's degree in Computer Science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), specialising in "Cryptography and Security" and "Theoretical Foundations".
Since July 2018, he has been working as a research assistant at the FZI Research Centre for Information Technology, focusing on IT security, IoT security, fuzzing, digital forensics, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Since November 2022, he has also been working as an AI trainer at the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Klima.Neutral.Digital. In this role, he is the contact person for small and medium-sized companies on the topic of artificial intelligence (AI) in connection with IT security.
