The FZI obtains ISO 27001 certification for its information security management system
Strong sign for the security of information, data and IT systems
On June 7, 2023, the information security management system (ISMS) of the FZI Research Center for Information Technology has officially been certified according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 27001:2017. With the certificate, TÜV SÜD certifies that the FZI’s ISMS meets the requirements of the internationally applicable standard. For this purpose, the FZI underwent a comprehensive audit.
The ISO/IEC 27001 standard is a globally recognized standard for information security management systems and specifies requirements for these for planning, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement. The responsible and purposeful handling of data and information – including, of course, project partners and clients – in the FZI’s daily work helps to ensure an effective and appropriate level of security with regard to the information processed.
