Neighborhood concepts are also an example of the necessary building blocks for a sustainable and innovative smart city of the future.
The FZI researches potentials for intelligent, energy-efficient building management that connects infrastructure components and can react to various signals and conditions.
The FZI also works on the practical development and evaluation of system architectures and infrastructural components for capturing and aggregating information about the current electrical and thermal energy demand in buildings, thereby providing suppliers with a reliable basis for energy production decision-making.
