Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kai Furmans is an expert industrial engineer with a doctorate and post-doctorate in mechanical engineering who focuses on modern logistics. His special interest is the development of new, decentralized controlled systems in engineering and supply chain management. These new systems can be used to compensate for the shortcomings of today’s logistics systems, such as a lack of adaptability or difficult migration.
