Karlsruhe, March 11, 2025 – The FZI Research Center for Information Technology presents innovative, sustainable solutions in energy management and mobility at the Hannover Messe 2025 in Hall 13, at THE LÄND Pavilion Stand C78. The focus is on demonstrators for bidirectional charging and the “GreenFlex” project. In addition, research work on automated local public transport, on real-world laboratories such as the Test Area Autonomous Driving Baden-Württemberg, and on open-source software will be presented. The exhibition stand offers a platform for exchange with companies, research institutions, and political decision-makers in order to jointly set new impulses for technological developments.

New technologies for an intelligent energy and mobility infrastructure

At Hannover Messe, the FZI demonstrates how digital transformation can make energy systems more efficient and sustainable.

These developments are exemplary of the FZI’s application-oriented research: scientific innovations are transferred into practice and open up new opportunities for business and society.

Open platforms for automated local transportation and autonomous driving

In addition to energy topics, the FZI presents its expertise in the fields of automated public transport and real-world laboratories, such as the Test Area Autonomous Driving Baden-Württemberg. The focus is on open, flexible systems that enable sustainable and safe mobility. In this context, open-source software plays a crucial role as it makes innovations accessible and accelerates the further development of autonomous systems.

Initation for exchange

Interested companies, public institutions and researchers are welcome to visit the FZI stand at the Hannover Messe and find out about innovations and opportunities for cooperation. “We would like to engage in discussions with potential partners in order to jointly develop solutions for the challenges of sustainable mobility and energy supply,” emphasizes Jan Wiesenberger, Director of the FZI Executive Board.

The FZI Research Center for Information Technology is represented at the Hannover Messe 2025 as part of the Baden-Württemberg joint stand THE LÄND Pavilion in Hall 13.
