Look Back on the FZI Health Day 2024: Fit and Balanced through Winter
On November 28, 2024, healthcare was at the center of attention: The FZI Health Day offered our employees many opportunities to get their body and mind in shape and warm up for winter. From health checks and fitness activities to healthy snacks, the well-attended event had much to offer for everyone.
Health checks as prevention
Participants could have their blood values checked by our occupational physician to detect possible health risks such as deficiencies or inflammations early. There was also a vitality screening using modern measuring methods to determine the body fat percentage, blood pressure, and muscle mass, with individual recommendations for a healthy lifestyle.
Activities for body and mind
The program included several active winter boosters. A power lecture on winter fatigue, accompanied by a workout, got the participants in motion. Those who wanted to take it more gently but still be active tanked up on new energy in a yoga session. Plus, there were individual coaching sessions on mental well-being conducted by our occupational psychologist, providing valuable insights into resilience and self-care.
Nutrition & exercise
The Health Day was complemented by delicious brain food snacks and ginger shots, providing important nutrients and vitamins for the body. For those who wanted to exercise in-between, the FZI healthcare boxes or the FZI walking pad were available to help integrate exercise into everyday office life.
The FZI Health Day was an all-around successful event that encouraged our team members to take an active approach to their healthcare. The different offers and practical everyday life tips inspired fitness and new ideas for improved well-being in the cold season.
Corporate Health Management at the FZI
The internal event was organized as part of the FZI Corporate Health Management – , a systematic approach to promoting and maintaining the health of our team members that aims to create a healthy working environment, improve the well-being of the team and minimize sick leave.
