Abhishek graduated in Automotive Software Engineering from Chemnitz University of Technology. Deep learning, multi-core, and parallel programming are some of his keen interests.

He did his Master Thesis from Volkswagen Group Research, titled "Model uncertainty estimation for a semantic segmentation network with a real-time deployment analysis on Nvidia Drive PX2".

Since January 2019, Abhishek Vivekanandan has been working as a researcher at the Research Center for Computer Science (FZI) in the Technical Cognitive Systems Division (TKS) which focuses mainly on the research and development of autonomous vehicle technologies.
